The Chair of the Rural Caucus has brought a lot of news to the Democratic Party
All of it bad

Perhaps no
other one person in Santa Clara could be appropriately dubbed the Master
Manipulator more than Chris Stampolis.
Stampolis
has left political scars on many folks in Santa Clara for years. His reputation
for shenanigans goes back more than a decade when he published a bogus
newspaper and slammed John McLemore in his race for Mayor. He later was
censured by the Santa Clara County Democratic Party Central Committee.
He formed
the Mission City Democratic Club (which had about 5 members) and made himself
President. Then he created mailers sent from the club endorsing himself and his
handpicked candidates.
When
Stampolis was riding high with the Democratic Committee he got in a shoving
argument with a lady at a Southern California storage locker and was charged
with assault. The plaintiff was awarded $35,000 for his misconduct. These
things do not necessarily make him a bad person, just a bad candidate.

manufactured a phony police report against Pat Flot to keep her from running
against him in the upcoming SCUSD electio
Stampolis makes 60 thousand a year from the Laborers, but he is one of the most anti union votes on the School Board. Stampolis hates teachers unions and has worked to harass and push around teachers all over Santa Clara

12 a. Endorsement of candidates for all local nonpartisan
offices (defined here as all
13 nonpartisan offices whose jurisdictions do not extend
across county lines) shall be
14 the exclusive responsibility of the relevant Democratic
County Central Committee.

16 b. A Democratic candidate for nonpartisan office who has
been endorsed by his/her
17 County Central Committee shall also be considered to be
the endorsed candidate of
18 the California Democratic Party
This Committee may remove any member if, during his/her term
of membership,
17 such member affiliates with or registers as a member of
another party; publicly
18 avows preference for another party; publicly advocates
that the voters should not
19 vote for the endorsed candidate of This Party for any
office; or who publicly gives
20 support to or avows a preference for a candidate
nominated by another party.
Well, Stanpolis, who know is restrained from going to a school, does make a mark
